Return & Refund Policy

At The Country Closet, we hand-select every item to ensure it meets our quality standards. Because we specialize in curated resale and unique Western finds, we have established the following policy to keep our inventory fresh and affordable for all our neighbors in Palestine, TX.

Returns

  • Timeframe: Items must be returned within 14 days of the delivery date or local pickup date.
  • Condition: To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it—unworn, unused, and with any original tags still attached.
  • Non-Returnable Items: For hygiene and safety reasons, certain items such as hats, jewelry (if applicable), and “Final Sale” clearance items cannot be returned.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved Refunds: If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5–7 business days.
  • Store Credit: We also offer the option of store credit, which never expires and can be used on any future “Closet” finds!

Exchanges

Due to the one-of-a-kind nature of resale, we cannot guarantee exchanges for the same item in a different size. If you need a different size, we recommend returning your original item and placing a new order for a different piece in our collection.

Shipping Costs for Returns

  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • If you are in the Palestine, TX area, you may return your item in person to avoid shipping fees. Please contact us to schedule a drop-off.
